Young Women

We help ease this transition by providing a safe environment
to discuss the reality of daily challenges our participants face

AIM House’s Young Men’s program opened its doors in December of 1999. We have since served hundreds of young men whose lives have changed as a result of participating in our program. By popular demand of our clients and those who referred them we opened AIM House’s Young Women’s Program in January of 2005. Originally our young women’s program was located in a 3-bedroom residence in South Boulder. We quickly outgrew this location and moved into what is known as the Earl House.

Our intention to provide a haven within the real-world where young women can grow. AIM House’s Young Women’s Program is unique in its approach. Our primary goal is to help participants actualize their potential, develop insight and awareness which translates naturally into long-term behavior change. AIM focuses on integrated change and does not place high value on superficial change for the sake of appearance. We realize that changing self destructive behavior is difficult and not always a linear path. We expect there to be bumps in the road along the way. We help ease this transition by providing a safe environment to discuss the reality of daily challenges our participants face.

We stay in contact with most of our participants long after they have completed our program.

"Thanks so much for giving me the time and space to see who I want to be."
