Young Men

Our primary intention to help young men
actualize their potential and develop insight and awareness

AIM House’s Young Men’s program opened its doors in December of 1999. We have since served hundreds of young men whose lives have changed as a result of participating in our program. Many changes have occurred at AIM House’s Young Men’s program since it’s inception. We started in half of a small duplex before moving to an apartment complex, which we soon outgrew before moving to the castle in 2004.

What hasn’t changed is our intention to provide a real world environment for young people to grow into.

AIM House’s Young Men’s Program is unique in its approach. Our primary intention is to help young men actualize their potential and develop insight and awareness which translates naturally into long-term behavior change. AIM focuses on integrated change and does not place high value on superficial change for the sake of appearance. We realize that changing self destructive behavior is difficult and not always a linear path. We expect there to be bumps in the road along the way. We help ease this transition by providing a safe environment to discuss the reality of daily challenges our participants face.

We stay in contact with most of our participants long after they have completed our program.

"Thank you for creating a place where it's okay to struggle and then overcome those struggles."
