As unique individuals, AIM House residents have varied backgrounds and stories. Many are bright and full of potential, but feel trapped in negative patterns that inhibit their ability to live independently and prevent them from achieving success in the present. Often, AIM residents lack awareness of how the choices they make impact their lives and those of the people closest to them. They feel life is happening to them, not due to them, and don't know where they fit in. Our goal is to help AIM residents find their unique place in the world. We create a nurturing yet demanding environment where participants can grow to understand their inner nature and come to take responsibility for their own lives. By providing clear structure, realistic expectations, and the dependable support of peers, AIM House gives individuals the opportunity to discover how capable and resourceful they truly are.
