The CUCRC started five years ago and now includes a sober residential hall. The AIM House founder Daniel Conroy was instrumental in starting this program and is now the director.

“It shows if you provide the space, people feel comfortable, and they’ll reach out for help,” said Conroy. Daniel became involved with starting the CUCRC as a separate project from AIM House because he, others at CU as well as those in the Boulder community saw the need for this. The program has been very successful and continues to grow. It has also been a great resource for AIM House participants who have struggled with substance abouse and have chosen to attend CU while in Boulder.

We will continue to update you with CUCRC news and success stories!
