We stay in contact with most of our participants long after they have completed our program

Our intention is to provide a haven within the real world where young women and men can grow. Our Shannon’s House Program is unique in its approach. Our primary goal is to help participants manifest their potential, developing insight and awareness as well as through learning and practicing the important life skills necessary to be successful both emotionally and practically. Both therapeutic and mentoring relationships with our staff facilitate growth and support long-term change. AIM focuses on integrated change and does not place high value on superficial change for the sake of appearance. We realize that changing self destructive behavior is difficult and not always a linear path. We expect there to be bumps in the road along the way. We help ease this transition by providing a safe environment to discuss the reality of daily challenges our participants face.

“We stay in contact with most of our participants long after they have completed our program.”

“We are grateful and appreciative for your program for helping us make this crucial transition and giving us the skills to work through conflicts and to anticipate potential problems.”

“Thanks so much for giving me the time and space to see who I want to be.”
