Charlotte originally worked at AIM House in admissions from 2008-2014. While working at AIM House, she finished her BA at Naropa University, studying contemplative psychology and early childhood education. After graduating college, Charlotte became the Director of Admissions at AIM House until she moved to California. There, she joined an educational consulting and intervention company, based in Los Angeles. In that position, Charlotte traveled around the country visiting a variety of wilderness programs, therapeutic schools and treatment programs; she also supported her team with family interventions and transporting individuals to treatment.
Charlotte enjoys sharing her personal journey in recovery from addiction and connecting with individuals and families needing support. As someone who went through multiple treatment programs and now has worked in the field 10 years, she offers valuable insight to families and professionals working with AIM House.
Charlotte has received training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and attends mindfulness and meditation workshops regularly at Pacifica Graduate Institute and other local organizations. In her free time, Charlotte loves to be active: trail running, practicing yoga and chasing after her two young children.
