Sheyna is a mentor at AIM House. Originally from New Hampshire, she lived in Breckenridge for eight years and the Boulder Colorado area for ten years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and is in the process of getting her Masters in Somatic Body Psychotherapy from Naropa University. She is also a certified yoga teacher.
Sheyna has previous experience as a massage therapist which she did for fourteen years and owned her own business. She has also been a climbing instructor for youth and adults. She is also a yoga instructor and previously a biology tutor. Her favorite part about working with young adults is that she gets to be a part of and witness positive change in people’s lives. She also enjoys using life skills to support participants and encourages them to promote positive change in their relationships along with supporting them in self exploration and self-awareness.
Over the past twelve years, Sheyna has been rock climbing and was also a Scarpa Rock Climbing Ambassador for five years. She has been published in various climbing and outdoor magazines, guide books, and calendars. She also loves to mountain bike, hike, snowboard, travel, garden, and study nutrition.
